I used to have a bunch of images on here to speak for me, but it was making my page take longer to load. I love movies, always have. Growing up I worked in a movie theatre. I love pretty much everything. I like horror and action movies and occassionally go for the emotional ones. Usually though if I'm interested in seeing a movie it is to escape dramatic emotional things and I prefer to just watch something that is either a brain teaser, funny, or action based.
I go through phases with this. For a long while I wont watch tv hardly at all and at some point I'll get interested in some show and watch it a lot for awhile (usually they are old shows that aren't making new ones anymore) and then when I have seen them all I stop watching for awhile. I'm currently discovering Monk and Yes Dear. I pretty much always watch (regardless of what phase I'm in) South Park, Family Guy, Metalocalypse, and more recently (but I think it will stick) Robot Chicken. I don't really keep up on what is showing though. Just kindof get interested in what I run into till I'm not anymore.
I used to read all of the time. I'm embarrassed to say I don't read anything anymore unless it is a text book or bar study materials. I'll get back into it eventually though.
