Show me what you find interesting....I want to broaden my horizons
Women who I find attractive, charismatic and with a taut sense of Humor....that you could bounce a penny On.... Eclectic Tastes...My Momma Raised an Aspiring Reprobate....She has alot to answer For.... or actually maybe I do....I paid my dues but I didn't do my Time
Early Brit invasion...80's ....Aimee Mann (why'd Michael Penn have to snag her)... ...The Kinks.......You are permittted to educate me on the modern indie scene... Just because I'm an Aspy doesn't mean I'm ineducable....Just semi disabled
We need more of Mickey Rourke in Everything...(except my girlfriend, whoever she is at the Time)...Recently in "Domino", "Sin City", "Spun", "Buffalo 66", etc..(Sin City goes up to 4stars when he's on and then slumps with everyone else in it to a one and three quarters...especially with that tired IRA knock off .... ...And Rourke in "Barfly", "Angel Heart" etc....give me a break...he's in the top 5 of living American Actors......and it's a Crime he's not getting Starring vehicle after Starring vehicle with which to instruct Cauliflornia and the rest of the States on how it's Done ....(they shoulda put him on the Sopranos pushing Tony around...Or in Goodfellas fuckin' wit DeNiro)...(Man America let's ya Down Bro' ...It kills or injures the good art and raises the Awful on a Pedestrian Pedestal)....(but then injured tortured art is often better than art given too much sun) . Don't like Gas Giant American Films Unless they are really Exceptional action or horror or top notch dramas, (and I don't mean snoozefests like Merchant Ivory)...... I prefer art films, some foreign and some domestic (the blonde in dreamlife of angels...Natasha Regnier...wow) The business needs a revolution though.... The big ones are often too much like video games... with cgi for the simple minded..
It's true....I like discovery health...various forensic shows...old british sitcoms..."Only Fools and Horses","Are you being Served", sometimes old "Red Dwarf"....Sundance Channel, IFC and Boxing on HBO...and documentaries....
Books Rule....Non-Fiction mostly now...funky memoirs.... Since I already read all the Bukowski, Burroughs, Kerouac, Fante Sr. and Jr., Kenneth Patchen, Gary Snyder, Edward Bunker, "Guilty of Everything" Huncke, Di Prima....and on and on....
I find it's better not to have any...it only swells their opinion about themselves when you genuflect to someone famous, even if they're famous for saving the world, and really they couldn't care less about you, plus it's not good for your knees, lumbar spine or your self esteem to worship anyone... Never be Subserviant...Always be Subversive... Always Question Authority...Except Mine Of Course
