That's right. I'm living in beautiful South Lake Tahoe, California...land of eternal sun. I never thought I'd get so excited about a rainy day. :) I'm currently working at Alpen Sierra Coffee Company; I am doing bookkeeping 4 days a week, with the occasional day at the retail store. I'm definitely loving the extra time off!!! I am truly thankful for my job -- and the free lattes! :o) I love living in Tahoe....hiking, mountain biking, running, skiing when I have the chance, watching sunsets on the beach, exploring the area around Tahoe, and seeking God like I never have before. God's been doing an amazing work on my heart, in my life, and in my family over the past while...and I'm learning to wait in breathless expectation on this journey of trusting God. What can I say...God is amazing!!

My Interests

traveling, reading, baking/cooking, hiking, camping, watching the stars, sitting on the beach and watching the sunset, speaking Spanish, hanging out with Hispanics, trying new things, sending packages, keeping in touch with friends (although I suck at it at times!), pulling pranks, giving people nasty candy, and growing in my relationship with Jesus Christ

I'm not much of a TV watcher...but I love Friends. and the Olympics when they're on...and when I'm around a TV to actually watch them while they're on. :o)

hmmm....aside from the Bible, I'll list my fav. authors: John Eldredge, Beth Moore, Francine Rivers, Robin Jones Gunn, Brennan Manning, Dan Allender, Liz Curtis Higgs, C.S. Lewis, Andrew Murray...there's more, but I can't think of them right now. Here's to my new fav: How People Grow by Cloud and Townsend. AMAZING book!!!
