Brian

I just got back from church camp, where I learned how to be more judgemental.

About Me

I really like the outdoors (hiking, backpacking, running, snowboarding, kayaking, etc.); music; cheese and ketchup...both together and separate; margaritas outside; concerts; staying up late; waking up early; large burritos; full-moon hikes; happy hours on Sunday; rooftop patios; peanut butter; weather; my bro and sis; the mountains; text messaging; bbq's; my friends; and Lizzie!

My Interests

Not necessarily in order of preference: Hiking, backpacking, running, snowboarding, camping, kayaking, music, and people.

I'd like to meet:

Everyone! Seriously though, I don't really have any idols or heros or anything. But I guess if I had to choose, it might be Natalie Portman, a relative from generations ago, or a dinasour.

My Running
That's right, I guess I'm now a runner. My next big run is the Palos Verdes Half Marathon in L.A. on May 17th 2008. This is my first attempt at a half marathon. Hopefully it's the first of many!

Music:

My Music Tour 2007 (in order of appearance): The Cat Empire, The Shins, Hot IQs, Silversun Pickups, OK GO, Snow Patrol, Polyphonic Spree, India Arie, Placebo, Wolfmother, The Decemberists, Hot IQs, Cake, Damien Rice, Third Eye Blind, Jimmy Eat World, Hot Hot Heat, Snow Patrol, I Hate Kate, Plain White T's, Jack's Mannequin, Motion City Soundtrack, Blue October, Social Distortion, Monolith! (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Kings of Leon, The Decemberists, Cake, Black Rebel Motorcyle Club, The Thieves, Ra Ra Riot, Hot IQs, The Little Ones, White Rabbits, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Art Brut, Spoon, Flaming Lips, Cloud Cult, Nina Storey, Meese), Muse, Stars of Track and Field, Josh Ritter, Rogue Wave, The Thermals Coming Soon Cold War Kids

Movies:

Recent Movies I have seen and liked: Pan's Labrynth, The Last Kiss, Stranger Than Fiction.

There are way too many movies to choose a favorite, but here are a few I like: Napolean Dynamite, Garden State, Old School, Gladiator, Matrix series, Harry Potter series, Kill Bills, Little Miss Sunshine. There really are a lot more I probably like better than some of those mentioned above, but I can't remember them.

Television:

I don't watch any tv(literally), but if I did here are a few...Lost, Family Guy, Simpsons, The Office, anything reality (especially Survivor and the cheesy Fox and MTV shows).

So this may only be entertaining to a few choice people who spent this past weekend at GoreFest, but either way it was a blast.  Oddly enough, there aren't really any pics of kayaking, just drunk...
