Let's see... About me... I do some woodworking (my "artistic outlet"). I enjoy coming up with an idea (“Gee, I need a coat rackâ€), designing it (sometimes on 3-D CAD software. Did I mention I’m kinda a geek!), the actual construction (cutting, gluing and screwing) and then applying the finish (which I get too fanatical about and spend WAY to much time doing!). Plus it’s very rewarding to have something cool, maybe useful, that I made myself.
The one hobby I’ve had consistently my whole life is reading. I LOVE to read! For fun I read a lot of sci-fi. But when I get interested in something (wood working, Mustangs, biking, whatever) I get magazines and books and read all about whatever it is that has caught my fancy. My exercise outlet is bike riding. I ride mostly on the road (as opposed to mountain biking). I hate gyms! Too boring. I've been known to snow ski, scuba dive, and go camping but these are not regular activities.
This year I've been kickin' ass professionally. I'm having an absolute blast at work, at home and with friends.
