- First of all...the J is silent and try not to make yourself so big, your not that small to begin with. Having said that, I enjoy quotes. I bought a quote dictionary while living in China (2002), and that book has been a greater investment than I had anticipated. I only ran into it, after a young "bugger" ran past me and knocked it off the shelf in a downtown bookstore in Ningbo (yeah, china) with his arm without notice. I scooped the paperback and was immediately injected with it's poise & cleverness. I have read that shit a thousand times, and still marvel! Not so much because of it's content, rather the inspiration that flows. For me, reading minds that have influenced our world, trying to make sense of their perspective on life motivates me to do the same...to "pitch-in", for a better overall way of thought! Any of you artist out there should have a copy of your own, for it disposes so much knowledge, useful for anyone who aspires to write some profound shit. But enough about that. More on "China Chapters" later in my BLOGS...so stay tuned... Originally, I am from beautiful Santa Barbara, California. I was born and raised up until I was 22, and in the summer of '99 James and I decided to dart to New York City. We spent the full year of 2000 over there (not to mention the crazy, fucken New year's eve in the big apple). Since then, I realized how much hard work it will require to reach my dream of being a professional musician. Now, seven years later I am so close...FUCKEN TASTING THAT SUCCESS!! I look back on the many adventures and many people that have helped me along the way, and thank myself for all that.
