BLEVIN BELCTUM plays solo electronic. formerly/currently one half of the digital duo 'blectum from blechdom'. by day she works as a registered veterinary technician at an entirely avian practice in Northern California. often performs costumed and with video. in a horned metal helmet. or in a horse costume fashioned out of cardboard by Mr. Fausto Caceres. Current live audio/video show is a riff on Philip K Dick's short story "The Preserving Machine" (Ryan Junell and Evans Hankey on visuals, Blevin on sound).
(i know it's really confusing but - i am the BLEVIN half of the former Blectum from Blechdom duo. not the KEVIN half. although I love her dearly, I am not her. she is Kevin BLECHDOM. i am Blevin BLECTUM.)
HOWEVER..... me and Kevin's band, BLECTUM FROM BLECHDOM has recently been recuscitated after a long cold stint in the deep freeze chamber of dead bands.
Hopefully, this will make it all much more confusing.
BLECTUM FROM BLECHDOM BIOGRAPHY (last edited September 2006) Can the undead never die? Yes. Therefore, we would like to announce that there has been an announcement from the Blectal interstellar powers that be that announce to the world that a grave-shift has occurred involving certain energy fields that have been realigning unlike never before with the potential plausibility to implode one quarter of all thoughts into one half of all thoughts. We (undead) are undergoing a distinctive and irreversible change revolving the density of the collective thought process and we are running out of time and time is running out on us. The previous signs that all pointed to the previous preparatory state have faded and now the initial instantiations have been initiated. Blevin Blectum and Kevin Blechdom have graciously put aside their differences during this important time in human history, and have accepted that they have been accepted and fraught after to serve as your personal chaperone to enjoy such an experience. They reunite as the undead BLECTUM FROM BLECHDOM in order to provide the auditory assistance necessary for your personal and collective change. It can be quite frightening at first, but with time and patience you will see and feel results instantaneously. When two distinct forms become indistinguishable the fire that burns is inextinguishable.
