Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, 'Days of Red' play a unique sound of emotion and aggression, whilst having the ability to captivate audiences with their hard-rock style. They perform with a level of depth and maturity beyond their years.
In the beginning of 2005, despite their vastly different taste in music, the boys from 'Days of Red' formed together to write music that they felt was true to themselves. With influences ranging from Jeff Buckley to The Mars Volta to Australian bands such as Karnivool and The Butterfly Effect, DOR aim to create songs that can only be categorised as 'their own.' Their current 6-track demo captures the bands distinct style, expressing every emotion and concept into each lyric. DOR have also had the privilege to play with such bands as The Getaway Plan, Horsell Common, Dallas Crane, Dukes of windsor, Dardanelles, Closure In Moscow, Stealing O'Neal and many more....
Combining Caz's up-beat guitar lines, hard-alternative rock riffage and Matt's tricky bass rhythms with Dan's effortless transition between melodic and intense vocals, integrate that with Sumner's dynamic drum patterns, DOR have everything it takes to beat you senseless while you still yearn for more...
