Kaizu Wasabi

Well how do you do? My name is Kai, I'm from northern Finland, Lapland. I've been playing in different bands since I was fifteen, mostly punk and rock. I formed Kaizu Wasabi few years back to pass the time and to make music that sounds exactly like I want it to sound. I love the freedom of making every decision what comes to my music. I always hated the compromises you have to make with band members so I decided to do this on my own. I am Kaizu Wasabi. I write all the songs and play every instrument from mandolin to witchdrum on my recordings. I record my albums in my room with my 10 year old "computer". My songs may be really lo-fi, they hiss, crakle and pop. But the most important thing, they're always full of emotion and they ROCK!I don't have a record deal yet but I've released two albums on my own. "Through Melodrama to Disaster" came out around 2000 and "With Her I Wither" was released in December of 2004. My Brand new album titled "Zelkova Serrata" is out on my birthday 31st of March.I love performing and playing my songs live, tho I haven't done it that much.
