I'm interested in whatever interests my kids and grandkids (so that would be 30-somethings, 20-somethings, and 3-5's). In addition, I have a growing interest in traveling--by train, by ship (not too wild about plane, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do), by bike, etc. I also like gardening, landscaping (although I'm not any good at it), and water sports.

One of my favorite movies ever is The Shawshank Redemption.
I rarely watch TV. The last two summers I've watched Rockstar. However, my favorites haven't been picked either year, and the show probably won't be on this summer, so I hear. My pick for the first year, Marty Casey, came in second. You can hear and see some of his music with his band--Lovehammers--on this page. I think they're great!
I don't get much chance to read because I work so much, so I take advantage of audiobooks, and that way I can "read" and drive at the same time! I purchase and download books from www.audible.com. It's pretty affordable and convenient.
My heroes are mostly people I have in my own life--just people others might consider "ordinary", but who go on every day despite difficulties and challenges, and they manage to make other people's lives a little better or brighter.
