Midwest at heart, I somehow ended up in Texas, the last state I thought I'd be. But then again i thought Texas was all cactus and tumbleweeds. My work in the gaming industry took me from Illinois, to Dallas, to Austin, where I realized would be a great place to stay for a while. I got into biking, and started running again when I got here, and actually started getting into some of the larger organized events such as the MS150, Freescale, and the Americas Triathlon. I'm always up for a good time, but actually prefer enjoying a nice day out doing something active over binge drinking on the weekends downtown. I'm very goal oriented and oddly passionate about financial planning and the concept of mentoring. One day I plan to teach, and may finally have an opportunity to get my feet wet in the Spring of 06.
