Let’s see… about me huh? I love spending time with friends and family. I like to go to dance clubs and bars. I like to play pool and go bowling. I love to go out and have a good time but also like to chill at home and watch TV on occasion. I love to shop, although it’s a very bad habit. I love computers, web design, graphic design, and photography. I love to be pampered and love affection. My lucky number is 27, and my favorite colors are black, pink, purple, and silver. I prefer white gold over yellow gold, prefer rubies and alexandrite over diamonds, and long walks on the beach. Too bad there isn’t a beach in Colorado. I love looking up at the stars on a clear, starry night. I love the New York Yankees, and love New York in general. I’d love to move back to the state in which I was born. I like Italian food (not pronounced eye-talion thank you) and Chinese food.
I’m a web developer in the technical field. I write troubleshooting for call center agents to troubleshoot equipment, and I post it on the internal and external web sites. I’m good at what I do, but don’t get the respect I deserve. I guess that is just part of being a female in a male world. I’ve always liked a challenge ;).
I have been pierced 20 times, and tattooed 9 times. But I hate needles. When you figure that one out, let me know! I love piercings and tattoos; especially on the opposite sex. Where am I pierced and tattooed? Wouldn’t YOU like to know! I collect dragons and collector’s edition Barbie dolls. They may put my future children through college someday. Children? At the moment, I think I want 2: a boy and a girl. Someday.
So, life is always interesting. I have Gaucher’s type 1, Hemophilia type A, and Hypothyroidism. I get to be the text book for my friends in the medical field :). It’s really funny actually. I mean, come on! When it rains, it pours… and my umbrella is busted. I believe in past lives and spirits – both good and evil. I believe there are family members around us all the time, and feel they let us know when they are there. I’ve seen family members out of the corner of my eye who have passed, and I’m home alone. I even believe my cat Missletoe is still with me. It’s hard to remember not to get scared; our loved ones don’t want to hurt us. On the other side of the spectrum, I believe there are evil spirits out there as well. They like to show themselves to me when I’m sleeping.
I’m going to New York in July to see the Yankees play in Yankee Stadium, since this is the last year for the park. I will be at the game on the 29th, so if it's televised, I'll be in the first base line home run section. I have 3 sisters who all live in New York so it will be good to see them again.
What am I looking for? I'm looking for someone who will love me the way I deserve to be loved, someone who is affectionate, who isn't afraid to take me around his friends, and someone who is willing to have a relationship. I'm not looking for the perfect man, I just want a guy who's fun to be with but knows how to be romantic. I want someone who isn't afraid of commitment, who isn't afraid to start a family, and who respects me and my family. I don't want to be an old mother, but I don't want to be a single mother. I want to get married and have kids, but I also want to go out and have fun.
