I'd like to meet:

I already met David Lee Roth (a few times), so I guess that is out of the way... would like to meet a US President once, that would be interesting... it might have been interesting to have met my father before he passed away several years ago.

Hmmm.... I am not sure I am answering this question correctly... I guess if this section is meant to describe what I look for in a companion or friend, then some of the qualities I admire the most are: intelligence, a sense of humor, an optimistic outlook on life, a sense of ambition and purpose, minimal baggage, an appreciation for music (especially live music), a healthy level of energy and enthusiasm, a sense of gratitude and the ability to make the best of situations.

Music:

I am still soooooooooooo stuck in the 80's it ain't even funny! Some of my faves that were POPULAR IN THE 80's include: classic Van Halen, David Lee Roth, Kiss, Dokken, INXS, Oingo Boingo, The B-52's, U2, Triumph, Journey, Kate Bush, The Untouchables, OMD, The Cure, Cyndi Lauper, Depeche Mode, Berlin, the English Beat and UB40. Some NON-80's FAVES include: Garbage, The Presidents of the United States of America, Matchbox Twenty, The Call, Foo Fighters, The Killers, ABBA and the band Chicago. Major points if you've ever heard of a LA band named Shark Island (former Sharks) that never really made it big (see my top friends for the reunited band), or The Thornbirds (former Ducks) that are still struggling to make it big.

Movies:

FAVORITE SCI-FI: original Star Wars trilogy, FAVORITE ACTION-ADVENTURE: Terminator series, FAVORITE CLASSIC COMEDY: Blazing Saddles, FAVORITE CONTEMPORY COMEDY: Austin Powers series, FAVORITE COMEDY-ROMANCE: Princess Bride, FAVORITE HORROR: The Fly series (remakes), FAVORITE CLASSIC: It's A Wonderful Life, FAVORITE TEEN-ANGST MOVIE: The Breakfast Club

Television:

not much time for TV these days, but my CURRENT faves are: South Park, Simpsons, the Showbiz Show... PREVIOUS faves: George Lopez, Freddie, Will and Grace, Seinfeld, Friends, Just Shoot Me, Frasier, Cheers, LA Law, In Living Color, David Letterman, M*A*S*H and classic Twilight Zone.

Books:

David Lee Roth's "Crazy From The Heat"... also need to get around to reading Michael Hutchence's book... and also "The Dirt" by Motley Crue and Tommy Lee's "Tommy Land"... hmmm... do you notice a theme here?

Heroes:

people I admire (for different reasons, and in no particular order): David Lee Roth, Ansel Adams, Albert Einstein, firefighters, George Lucas, Jesus Christ, rescue workers, Steve Irwin, teachers, my mother, my 11th grade computer teacher, volunteers, my high school counselor, those who serve or have served our country in the military, MacGyver
