MY FAMILY AND GOD!!!!!!LENA MAE EASLEY Easley, Lena Mae A homemaker and a resident of Baton Rouge, she was called home by her Lord and Savior at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 79 and a native of Kentwood. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visiting resumes in the funeral home chapel Wednesday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Al Moore. Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in New Zion Cemetery in Kentwood. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Wallace Y. Easley Sr.; four daughters and three sons-in-law, Shirley Blue, Lena and Jerry Godso, Ann and Richard Sparks, and Lynn and Glenn Sparks; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Sidney and Brenda Easley and Wallace Y. Easley Jr.; a sister and brother-in-law, Rosa Lee and Charles Foster; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Sammy and Billie Rose Woodard, and Joe Jr. and "Mi Mi" Woodard; 19 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stacey Nicole Blue; son-in-law, Thomas D. Blue; three sisters and three brothers. Pallbearers will be Sidney, Chris, Wallace Jr., and "Tre" Easley, Tommy Blue, Ricky and Chad Sparks and James Hoover. Honorary pallbearers are Jerry Godso and Glenn Sparks. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and Bethany World Prayer Center. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of the Fifth Floor Tower at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, and special friends of the family, Karla Roubique and Nancy Altman, for their love and care of our beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
