About Me

I write this for nothing: www.londongigreviews.blogspot.com
When I go out I wear a coat a green coat the hood of the coat is white on the inside I think it's some sort of waterproof lining anyway it's getting old and the white is sort of cracking so you can see the green coming through. It has a really well placed pocket which I keep my phone and oyster card in but because I use these items so frequently the velcro has become tattered and doesn't work as well as it should. Despite this I've never lost anything from this particular pocket. When I'm at home I sit in my room and wait until I hear someone else in the house moving around then I get up and go and talk to them. The conversations are often successful by which I mean things are often agreed upon or we laugh or both maybe, in the best case scenario. My housemates are great. I go to work at a computer and I help make the films work while I talk to the nice people around me. Even though it is quite interesting and the people are nice I wouldn't do it for free. At weekends I go into the woods and smoke crack and lay in a heap. When I grow up I want to be better at sex.

Best In Show

What a great movie to start the year. Christopher Guest and Co. improvise their way through this genius comedy with such brilliant wit and timing you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd died and gone to...

I suppose I don't watch that many films then.

I mean, 127 in a year is hardly loads. I reckon that's not too far off average... a little more than one every three days... seems easily done to me, no? I think I predicted in my first blog that ...

I Stand Alone

Gaspar Noe made Irreversible which is an amazing film but one which I never want to see again, nor do I need to because it is indelibly etched into my memory. Etched in blood and mucous. Watching th...

Naked Gun 1, 2&1/2 & 33&1/3

I bought this trilogy on boxing day with my hmv gift voucher (that's interesting no? ...No). I used to love the Naked Gun films ages ago and thought it'd be nice to see if they still stand up today. ...

The 40 Year Old Virgin

Well you'd think this was completely shit but actually it's alright. The title is the plot so I won't do a synopsis. There's a lot of laughs to be had here until it inevitably goes all 'oh it doesn'...

HAZE

Oh man what a load of shit. I can't believe the same brain came up with A Snake of June, one of the best films EVER. This is dire. It's a man trapped in an enclosed space, you don't know why, but i...

Princess Mononoke

I'm inclined to think of this as the definitive Miyazaki movie. Its obsession with the environment, the balance of technological advancement with mother nature, the sympathy for all sides in the batt...
