What's the point of living life if we don't live it for the moment. Too often we focus on what will/might be ahead of us, that we forget to enjoy the ride. For me, friends/family are most important, but even they would say that I have to live my life for me; when they're all gone, I still have to look myself in the mirror and ask, "Do you regret?" Hopefully all of us can at least have a chance to say, "No...I don't regret...I love myself, my life, and now all that I have been through, has brought me to a place where I can lay my head down and rest where I may." So when someone compliments you, say "thank you" instead of "yeah right." When someone looks you in the eye, smile and look them back instead of looking away. And when something knocks you down, find the strength to get back on your feet instead of giving up. We're all STILL STANDING for a reason. Haters will never know what it's like to shine cuz their too busy throwing dirt to realize that they need to just do for self. When I shine..................YOU shine. We all need to shine.
