About Me

These designs and more available at
www.zazzle.com/kubasbodega*
I've seen and dealt with all walks of life with my experience in retail and corporate sales; from the rich streets of Greenwich, CT to smack in the middle of the South Bronx ("the South South Bronx..."). Something has to be really, really messed up to surprise me.In my spare time, (as little as there is) I'm a part-time DJ and promoter. I've been involved in promotions for close to ten years, starting out selling tickets here and there for a promotional group.I've always been interested in DJing since I was kid. I was always hanging out at a small record shop in the Bronx, looking over the shoulders of DNR and Phunky Phantom, trying to pick up techniques. I took up DJing almost four years ago when I found out about Scratch DJ Academy in New York City.In addition, I can create artwork for fliers, tickets, business cards, VIP badges, CD covers, t-shirt designs, and other items for your upcoming events. I'm self taught in Photoshop and I've been using that program to create my designs. You can see some examples of my work in my photo albums.

My Interests

I'm into DJing, music production, party/club promotions, graphic arts design, baseball, football, seeing live standup comedy, pool, sneaker collecting (size 11 if you wanna show love), spoken word, Poker, Blackjack, Madden Football (Kuba Rico on XBOX Live).

I love the Yankees no matter what, but I hate Alex Rodriguez as much as you do.

I've been a K.C. Chiefs fan since I was a kid. They gotta fire Herm Edwards. He was bad with the Jets, and he's even worse now.
I'm a big fan of the Opie & Anthony Show. They're syndicated on CBS radio stations around the country and on XM Satellite Radio. I'm also big on Ron & Fez who are also on XM. Don't bother if you're easily offended. -------------------------------------------------------- Things I love: NYC at night. Las Vegas at night. Catching the Yankee game. A new pair of sneakers. Cooking(I'm nice in the kitchen). Deep House music. NYC at Christmastime. Vodka. Latinas. Wakatake Sake. Watching wrestling with my bro(so what if it's fake). My turntables. Anything with a Skull design. Salma Hayek. My two dogs. A good cigar. Designing T-shirts. A rainy Sunday afternoon. Pulp Fiction. Kangols. Playing dominoes. Latino culture. Stand-up comedy. Hip Hop from the Golden Age Era. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Japanese culture. Football. --------------------------------------------------------
Yes, I do wear alot of black :-) --------------------------------------------------------
