Basically three eras have occurred for ELTR, the "Travis" period, the "Ricky" period and most recent the "Cam" period. Here's a brief description of each. Travis era was the first incarnation which consisted of him on vocals, Greg on guitar, Alex on guitar, Pat on bass and Cam on drums. Travis left the band after being the front man for a year. Throughout Travis' stay Pat quit the band and Ricky of Paola, KS was quick to fill his shoes. Once Travis left, ELTR was stuck looking for a vocalist and bassist, low and behold their new bassist Ricky could kill small children with his vo-kills.
The Ricky period is the same as the Travis era but includes Brad on bass of Paola, KS. ELTR wrote four new songs in this time I believe. With college then in session and Greg far away, ELTR played its final show with As Blood Runs Black and Animosity at the Bottleneck in Lawrence.
A year in the process and we arrive at the "Cam" period. From the Ashes started up in Olathe, KS by Guitarist Shadoe, Drummer Shawn and Ex-Guitarist Wes. They themselves went through several member changes until eventually winding up with three ex-ELTR members. Travis now plays bass. Ricky switched to guitar, Cam now does vocals, and lastly Shadoe and Shawn remain on their original instruments.
Not long after Travis was added to the line-up, it was decided that we should change our name to Enemies Laid To Rest.
And with that said...
The ENEMIES are back and excited to play with a solidified lineup.
