I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a writer/producer/director looking for projects and people to collaborate with on them. If you're an actor/producer, and are interested in collaborating on a "showcase short film" (custom tailored around your talents and strengths), please get in touch with me and I'll tell you more about a program where I write and direct short films, completely tailored around you! (Much in the way Good Will Hunting was created, only on a short-film scale.)I'm also here to network and make friends (outside of this industry too), so feel free to send me a message if you'd like to chat.

My Interests

I'm active and regularly play beach volleyball and basketball. I also mountain bike, roller blade, rock-climb and golf when I can. (Although not at the same time)Live music and theatre are high on my interest list as well as movies, politics and religion.

I'd like to meet:

Actors, Producers, Actor-Producers, Financiers, and someone that can rid my computer of Pop-Ups forever!I'm always open to meeting friends that share commone interests as well!

Music:

Favorite band - Pearl Jam. Other fav's: Jeff Buckley, RATM, Chili Peppers, U2, Beck, Nirvana, Salsa music and classical.Favorite film composers: Maurice Jarre and John Williams

Movies:

Depends on my mood, but here's a brief list of favorites: On the Waterfront, Cat On a Hot Tin Roof, Cinema Paradiso, Star Wars (the original trilogy, not the recent ones that are cluttered with effects, lack mythology and lack the concept of "negative space."), Stand By Me, As Good as it Gets, American History X, Jaws...

Television:

During an election year, I watch most of the Fox line-up each night. (O'Reilly, Hannity & Colmes...) Otherwise, I really only watch movies, football and basketball on TV. I'll watch an occassionaly reality show, but generally don't like the scandalous nature of the genre. (The Benefactor is very entertaining though!)

Books:

Grapes of Wrath, Catcher in the Rye, Seabiscuit, many of Michael Crichton's books, and Harry Potter!

Heroes:

Jesus Christ, Ghandi, Mother Theresa, Walt Disney, Frank Capra, Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Oprah Winfrey, Abe Lincoln, and the Wizard of Westwood.
