Television:

I LOVE Futurama. Cops is funny--I like to make bets on whether the guy will have a shirt on or not, the Simpsons (of course), Mr. Show, Wundershowzen, Wonderlust, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Maury, Jerry Springer--two shows, along with Cops, that should be placed in a time capsule for aliens to see what the human race, in general, can be like, Nova, Antiques Roadshow, Subterranean (used to be 120 Minutes), Austin City Limits and VH1 Storytellers are cool, Pimp My Ride is rad, Ghost in the Shell, Big O, Cowboy Bebop, Star Trek (original series--man wasn't that groovy? I wish I could be transported to that dimension sometimes), Curb Your Enthusiasm is pretty cool, anything with Chris Elliot. I HATE that new show Arrested Development. Do they think because they have David Cross on it will automatically be funny? What a let down... I dig Mad TV sometimes, and most of the stuff on Comedy Central. I love to laugh. But I like anything educational: like everything on the History Channel, and most of PBS. I used to be against Television. Now I see it has it's time and place. And my apartment would seem lonely without the radio or TV on.

Books:

Bukowski (thanks Britt, Dave, and Steve), Steve Palahniuk, SE Hinton UNDERGROUND COMICS, Biology and science books. I dig the guy who wrote Johnathan Livingston Seagull--I forget who, The Artist's Way, old pulp fiction--Sci-Fi and hard-boiled detective novels and crime novels: some good authors are John MacDonald, Richard S Prather, JG Ballard, Robert E Howard, Herbert Kastle and Rod Serling's anthologies. Barry Gifford, SOME Clive Barker and MR. King, Camus' The Stranger (thanks again Britt), Anias Nin and Henry Miller, The Wild Party (illustrated), William Burroughs --I've re-read the first two chapters of Naked Lunch a few times, and I've never seemed to get further, because in the past I was usually reading it intoxicated, which I rarely do anymore (thank GOD!). Grimm Fairy Tales, Beyond Good and Evil--F. Neitzsche, OLD YEARBOOKs--I want to make wallpaper out of the senior pages, MOJO MAGAZINE--it's as EXPENSIVE as a book, Isaac Asimov, how to car manuals, business and computer books, college course books (yeah, I'm glad I read them when the term's over). I'd really like to read more, alot more, but when I start reading I find it hard to stop, so when it's time to lie down for bed (the perfect time to read) I end up staying up way too late. I understand how books are dangerous!
