About Me

Grew up in Alabama, moved around just enough to avoid a heavy accent. I spent the 80's on a skateboard, the 90's getting into trouble, and the 2000's trying to figure out what comes next. I've been in Austin since 1996, with a couple of years in San Francisco mixed in. My hobbies these days are mostly related to biodiesel. I helped start a biodiesel cooperative, then we turned it into a business - DieselGreen Fuels, in Austin.One of my big passions in life is traveling. I've been lucky enough to visit about a dozen countries in North America and Europe, and Brazil. I'm updating my journal while on a 10 day trip to Europe with my fiancee Raquel. ( My gallery ) has many of the pictures of my travels and the rest of my life.I've been on myspace for a couple of years, but don't spend much time on here. If your profile page looks like a 12 year old girl's aol homepage, you probably won't like me.My musical tastes have evolved a little since I got my first Suicidal Tendencies tape about 20 years ago. My absolute favorite band is Jets to Brazil, with Neurosis on the harder side and Le Tigre on the lighter side.I have a professional kind of computer job, but work from home; that leaves me a lot of time for projects, watching Judge Judy, listening to music, and sitting around in my pajamas.

My Interests

Biodiesel and waste vegetable oil, traveling the world. Lots of little niche hobbies, but nothing too nerdy. Also like MMA such as Pride, UFC, and K-1. Met the Brazilian Top Team in Rio!

This is what happens when people stop questioning our government

in times of fear, people look to strong leaders to make them feel safe. they tend to give away rights to feel safer. bush has made a career of stoking the fire of fear and look where it has gotten us....
