You are born into this world free. Free from fault or guilt, born innocent. You are then bombarded with Expectations, Control, Blame, Rules and Responsibilities. Does this make you defined? Are you what you are told you are, or who you are told to be? We are born with something that cannot be taken away, and that is the freedom to choose. We can choose to Love or to Hate, Rejoice or Hurt, Laugh or Cry. Our life experiences can influence or seemingly compel us to follow a path, but ultimately the choice is ours. What keeps us from making a choice to change? Our fears! We can either change or be changed. We are born free therefore we must choose the life we want for ourselves so as not to imprison our self. Who you are is who you want to be. Who you want to be is in yourself, Nurture yourself. Listen to yourself. Nobody can change who you are. Live life for you are born free and die free - so live free. Take this advice..... Do not try to live another's life. Enhance your qualities. Know your flaws and correct them. Lead a disciplined life. Voice your own views, if not then keep quiet. Replace negative with positive. Believe in yourself. Do not take anyone or yourself for granted. I have not always followed my own advice in the past, especially in the past couple of years. I have hurt a few people in the process, and I am deeply sorry for that. But, as I sit here listening to music, something that influences my life, I have come to a realization that I have not done the best for myself..... So its time to make a change.... especially for a certain loved one, but most of all for me.
