I am here for Friends

About Me

We've got our hands full with Mireille, the dogs (Hannah and Leila) , and the insane cat, "Captain" Jack. If you don't like dogs, don't come over. If our dogs don't like you, well, enter at your own risk. All in all, things are going great. Mireille is still holding on to the title of World's Cutest Baby, and she only gets cuter with each passing day. Don't believe me? Just check out our pics! I'm currently living with my mom back in god old New Philly while Tim is getting beat by Gunnies at OCS. II'm not sure who's having more fun, but ask me in a couple weeks, and I may just say that I wish Tim and I could trade places! Hopefully, everything will go smoothyly from here on out. Until then, you can find me at the gym or hanging with the fam. Please give me a call, because I have no life and I need a little stimulating conversation from time to time in order to keep my sanity!

My Interests

Tim - Anything Boston (sports, beer, bars, places to enjoy the first two... whatever), anything Military (by which i mean the Navy or the Marines... no doggie-soldiers or wing-wipers need apply), Monty Python, James Bond, R.Lee Ermey, chee-tos, Doritos, good coffee, Sam Adams beer, big dogs, Iron Chef, The Sports Guy on ESPN.com, The Family Guy and the Simpsons.... Tonya - At the moment...anything having to do with babies, the Cleveland Browns, the Red Sox, reading, spending time with the family, The Food Network, swimming, walking, and keeping in touch with family and friends who are far away (especially my Hawaii friends...I miss you and I will be back!).

I'd like to meet:

Tim - Ted Williams Tonya - Bernie Kosar, Tom Robbins, the Clintons, and anyone who can get the dogs to stop jumping on poeple

Music:

Pretty much anything... although Tonya's developing a marked taste for NPR, which baffles me, since I've never been a big fan of falling asleep at the wheel... but whatever.

Movies:

Lots of comedies and action movies, but we diverge when it comes to horror/sci-fi vs. romantic comedies/straight up romances.... I'll leave it to you to decide who prefers what.

Television:

When we get a chance to sit down, it's usually the food network or some type of sports. Well, that and TLC's daytime lineup of makeover shows.

Books:

Everything and anything.

Heroes:

Our families, our friends here and overseas serving the USA, the guy who brews Sam Adams..If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous, he will not bite you; that is the principal difference between a dog and a man. -Mark TwainDogs love their friends and bite their enemies, quite unlike people, who are incapable of pure love and always have to mix love and hate. -Sigmund Freud

what I want to be when I grow up

Today was a good day. Even though I was feeling sluggish and would really have preferred an hour of napping with the dogs and Mireille on the couch, I managed to drag myself to the gym and get in a go...
