What some call arrogance, I call sexy & stylish sophistication with the international persuasion

About Me

HERE ARE 8 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ME. PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT IF YOU ASK ME ANY OF THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS, IT WILL BE APPARENT THAT YOU DID NOT TAKE THE TIME OR MAKE THE SLIGHTEST EFFORT TO READ IT, SO SPARE YOURSELF THE EMBARASSMENT! 1. I am of mixed ethnicity. My mother is from SEOUL which is the capital of SOUTH KOREA. My Father is from TANZANIA. For those of you not familiar with the country of Tanzania, it is located in East Africa just south of Kenya. 2. I started practicing Tae Kwon Do at the age of 5 and competed at a national and international level until I was 22 years old. 3. I am extremely well travelled and intend to travel a whole lot more in my lifetime! I've been to Morocco, Sierra Leonne (actually lived there for 4 years), Egypt (saw the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx), Kenya (Mombasa and Nairobi), Tanzania (the homeland: where I have gone on numerous safaris in the Serengeti, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, went to the tropical island of Zanzibar), the UK (visited Henley & London, and saw historical sites such as Stone Henge, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, and shopped in Piccadilly circus. Love the store Herrod's of London), Greece (Athens, Temple of Poseidon), Italy (Rome, Florence, and Venice), Amsterdam, Germany (Frankfurt), France, Canada (Toronto, London Ont.) etc... There is definitely a degree of aculturation that is gained from worldly experiences as we gain a better understanding of other cultures in the emerging global community. I don't like to live life by being an observer. I prefer to be a participator. I want to experience all that life as to offer me. Life is too short to be complacent. 4. I was a private school boy all my life, loved it because it gave me the necessary tools to excel in academics. I was a bit of an introvert did not come out of my shell until freshman year of college in London, Ontario Canada. 5. I come from an intact close knit family...and both my sisters (Florence and Eli) are my best friends. I can talk to them about ANYTHING! My parents have beem happily married for 30+ years! 6. I am back in school after a long hiatus. I did not know what I wanted out of life and kept switching majors which was just a waste of money. However, being a personal trainer and having been on the job market for several years, I establishing many wonderful lifelong connections and my path became crystal clear. You can find out more about my personal training background at: 4-everfit inc.I have attained my Associates Degree in Business Administration and am currently pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration majoring in Management at Strayer University. My passion for learning and expanding my mind is unrelenting. I intend to go straight into graduate school for my MBA in January of 2008! My current cumulative GPA is 4.0 so far. I am very proud of this accomplishment since I worked very hard to obtain and sustain my grade point average! That is an undisputed fact. I will be graduating this coming September at the latest! It is very important that my significant other find value in education since education is what ultimately determines the type of future we lead. Education enables us to relate to people on a multitude of levels and opens up vast oppurtunities. It never ceases to amuse me how some people on myspace boast about their self-proclaimed intelligence yet they lack the ability to articulate their thoughts with coherence. These people aren't even remotely on the level. Nice try fellas. I would say more but about these folk but that would be more time wasted. Anyways.... 7. Health and fitness is very important to me..as it should be to any individual. I try to incorporate fitness into my life as much as I can! I currently have 4.6% bodyfat! :-) I believe that the one thing we have absolute control over is our physical health...and I believe that if someone doesn't have enough discipline to take care of him or herself...how can they take care of someone else effectively. Nothing is more unattractive than a person that doesn't care for themself. As the saying goes, if you don't have your health, you don't have ANYTHING!! There is no excuse to let your health deteriorate to a point of public ridicule and what is worse is when people make excuses for being out of shape! These type of people need to learn accountability for their situations. As much as people hate to admit, we are judged by our overall appearance in both our professional and personal lives which is why I take my appearance VERY seriously. This is not to say that you should obsess about your body and not develop your mental muscle. Both should be developed maximally. That is a fact of life. Like Charles Darwin states...It is the "survival of the fittest." And I'm a SURVIVOR! I believe that there are the three major components that define human beings. These very components need to be in balance in order for an individual to be a whole and a healthy individual: the physical self, the mental/emotional self, and the spiritual self. When any of these things are lacking... this can bring about distress, and distress leads to unhappiness. To have all three in balance will promote happiness which in turn would affect every other aspect of our lives. 8. I prefer to surround myself around a diverse group of friends. I don't discriminate by sticking only with one ethnicity or group which is something which is all too common now days. Furthermore, I believe that it is imperative to interact with people of same or greater intellectual capacity because it is always rewarding to learn from one another and to get various perspectives on certain ideas as well as exchange philosophies. I have a NO patience for ignorance and stupidity.Nothing is worse than someone voicing their opinion when they have no idea of what they are talking about. have you ever listened to someone talk and by the time they are done...you felt dumber? Anyways, which is why most of my friends tend to be older college and professional school graduates. This does not mean that I am dsicriminatory towards other people, but I try to avoid spending time with idiots. I prefer to deal with people that demonstrate intelligence so that I can converse on the intellectual level. In addition, I prefer to filter out all the nonsense and rampant bullshit that plagues our daily existence. People who are truly inquisitive can find out more about me.... My Interests

Exercising and physical fitness is an ABSOLUTE. I am a fan of fashion and style. I am au couture pretty much ALL TIMES except when I have to get down and dirty in the gym. But believe me...it is worth it because I look damn good in the summertime! Tae Kwon Do and Kickboxing are also interests of mine and for all thoughs who really know me, they know I have participated in these activites for for over 20 years. I enjoy most Outdoorsy activities and have a whole lot more on a roster of things to try and I am always down for pretty much any outdoor activity! I enjoy traveling (nationally and internationally). I feel that exposure to various cultures helps to broaden the mind and is esential in developing a global perspective. We become intuned with other cultures and become less ethnocentric. I am a complete fan for intellectually stimulating discussions. They are an absolute must. I enjoy dancing and going out to nightclubs occassionally. You might even catch me at a live performance, be it a concert or theater production. I love exploring various restaurants. On the inside, I am still a kid at heart and love the amusement parks, be it Kings Dominion, Six Flags, Busch Gardens, etc....I am always down for some good clean fun!Get Your Own! | View SlideshowBreaking Competition at the Olympic Training Center

Books:

I enjoy reading any and all literary materials related to health and fitness! Currently reading A LOT of articles school related pm economic issues in trhe LDCs (Less Developed Countries), E-business articles. I am also reading the Business section of the Washington Post, mainly for stock market analysis.

Heroes:

My parents overcame great adversity when they came to America. Coming from two totally different backgrounds, they are the epitome of what it meant to achieve the American Dream! They grew up with little and attained incredible successes in the professional arena as well as their own private lives, and they have provided my sisters and I with all the opportunities in the world for which I am thankful! They have instilled morals, strong values, and work ethic in all of us and they show what can happen when a person applies oneself. Having grown up with such priviledge has also shown me that kids in todays society don't realize how well off we are relative to the rest of the world which is why I believe that it is essential that we not take anything that we have for granted. My sister is also my hero because she is realizing her dream of independent film production. She is dedicated to her craft of storytelling through film. You can view her trailer to her film "Worlds Apart" at her website: 9 Elephants ProductionsOther heros that have influenced my life and have enabled me to excel both in the gym and in the academic arena are:Moselle and Avery Kanfer: Brooklyn Guru Shirley Cosson: Seven Minute MeditationFounder, CEO, Fashion designer and friend.."The Phoenix" of Imperial Curves Fashions.
