Rachel

Let's get the shit kicked out of us by love.

About Me

I'm a 21-year old from Quincy, IL. I absolutely love the Fall for its beautiful weather and gorgeous array of colors. I am a senior English/Creative Writing and Psychology major at Illinois College (thus using the word "array" earlier), and am currently in that long battle with trying to figure out what I am going to do with my life.

My Interests

I love art, music, Friday nights spent doing homework-okay, not really, but it happens a lot-playing soccer, hanging out with my friends, taking pictures, reading and writing, working out and running, and last, but not least, cooking.

I'd like to meet:

Jodi Picoult, because I want to write like her; Peter Bruegel or any artist from the Baroque period because I love the artwork; and Sandra Bullock because she's hilarious!I edited my profile at Myspacelayouts . check out these Myspace Layouts!

Music:

The Spill Canvas, Jack Johnson, Matthew West, Dashboard Confessional, Jeremy Camp, Bebo Norman, Brand New, Straylight Run, Sarah MacLachlan, the Fray, Jack's Mannequin, one Miss Ashleigh Douglas, Secondhand Serenade and, of course, the Dave Matthews Band. I am also a huge fan of anything with the acoustic guitar, so if you have any suggestions, pass them my way!

Movies:

Talladega Nights, The Princess Bride, Anchorman, Miracle, The Boondock Saints, Wicker Park, and Steel Magnolias

Television:

Friends, That 70's Show, Beauty and the Geek, and Nip/Tuck.

Books:

Anything by Jodi Picoult, Middlesex by Jeffry Euganides, The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, My Year of Meats by Ruth Ozeki, and The Jungle by Upton Sinclair.

Heroes:

Don't really know...
