About Me

Who is Brooksfoundjake?
Brooksfoundjake is a duo I was in with guitarist Bryan Dale, before I recorded Latitudes & Local Time. I still play some of the songs live, so I made a collection of those tracks available through Snocap.Hi, I'm Scott. I love creating music. For the most part, my songs are self written/performed/produced. I collaborate with John Mondick when he's not curing cancer (I'm not kidding) and I'm lucky to have friends with great ears. Someday I'd love to be able to get a larger scale collaboration going with my music, but I've always worked best largely by my lonesome. I teach music in the evenings, but right now I spend the majority of my time in the studio, playing, listening, thinking, nodding my head, shaking my head and using four letter words for both good and bad reasons. I really can't wait to be done this time around, but on good days there's nothing I'd rather be doing.I've had songs on some pretty cool radio stations in the Tri-State area (such as 88.5 WXPN in Philadelphia, 105.9 The X in Pittsburgh) and have done a bunch of music festivals as well as a couple tours. I'm taking a little time off of playing shows to try and finish a record soon.
