heres bit bout me... 5'11, DJ/Producer. Breaks is wat im all about.Canadian DJ JP Berube's love for Breakbeat and prog Haus music
developed in the late 1990's when he first embraced
the Montreal electronic music scene. Inspired by dj's and live acts such
as "Adam Freeland,Rabbit in the moon, Chemical Brothers, etx. " JP a.k.a.
DJ Dysklo decided to take his new found love for music to the next level.
He invested in a pair of numark TTx1 turntables and a pioneer
mixer and immediately began to practice. His addiction
to the tables grew stronger and deeper as his skills began
to emerge. By the early millenium JP found himself performing
in local clubs such as Blud Dog and Saphir and at house parties
in front of crowds who promptly fell in love with his music. In 2002, Milton Clark invited JP to play on a his club246.com radio show.
After that, the chemistry between these two was natural, and thats when the
duo formed what is better known today as "Dark'N'Clark". Not long after,
club246 added dysklo to they're saturday night roster and the GMU Sessions were born.
GMU is better known as "globalmastermindz unltd." formed by members dysklo, Adil Amlani
and Deebass. The following years were important as JP spent most of his time producing and remixing
tunes of all genres and styles. After succesfully completing contracts for television along
side co-producer Adil Amlani, it was obvious that talent wasen't an issue here. Deebass seing
this tallent immediatly booked dysklo and Adil to DJ for the young chamber of commerce, which
gave them great recognition, and aloud them to play in Montreal finnest clubs suck as "Korina's,
747, the supper club and more".In 2004, a new club night was born called "eZ-bake mondays". After his first guest apperance,
the residents knabed dysklo and made him a resident as well. This was the place to be on mondays
and gave breaks heads somewhere to go and take advantage of great music and cheap booze.. and yes
a different guess headliner weekly.Currently planning on going to school "audio engineering" in the near future
JP's laying low, only emerging for the bigger more important parties.
Lookout for dysklo in Montreal in the coming months along side UK dj/poducer
"General Midi". Its just a matter of time before you'll find dysklo on a record store shelf near you.
