BEATHITZ PRODUCTIONZ'S CEO

About Me

A native of South Jersey KT was introduced to music from birth. His father, ZA, world-renowned Bassist/Songwriter for Arrested Development, always kept music in the lives of his family. KT loved listening to music and appreciated the art, but did not begin tapping into his own musical expression until the age of 14. After being inspired by his older brother Tru, CEO of ONESHOT Ent. , KT began working harder than ever to make hard hitting beats to compete with the raw street trax of his brothers. At that age he and two of his friends formed a rap group called, The Mad Elements. KT wrote all the music, arrangements, and co-wrote the hooks to the 4 songs that they were able to complete. His boys J-black, a.k.a. Jamel Baker and Wax a.k.a. Tyrice Lewis were the additional ingredients that powered their group, The Mad Elements.
Receiving word, a year later, that he was moving to Atlanta KT placed the music behind him and began focusing on business management in hopes to be apart of the music industry on business terms. Once settled in an unknown, city with unknown southern cats, KT picked up where he left off and began writing music again this time just as a hobby. He, his father, and sister started to get into some production with his dad writing the trax, KT writing the lyrics, and his sister singing. It was almost inevitable that the noise was coming from Jersey to Atlanta by way of ZA and company.
Without getting any real placements over the years the drive started to diminish and focus on school became more apparent. After graduating, KT could not shake that born instinct to keep writing. Each year critics were bobbing there heads to his beats more and more until one day one of his trax was placed. KT wrote a track for ShIi and was placed on the Canadian based album. KTs track and hook were both accepted and deemed one of the strong tracks on the album. Just to get his name out there KT sacrificed pay for recognition. During this time it was a prominent moment, because BeatHitz productionz was born. KT founded BeatHitz productionz in '04 and began his business plan to produce a company that will make the industry fair and respected on all levels.
A couple of years later KT began growing his track portfolio, writing R&B and Neo-Soul. He then ventured into the Reggae, Crunk, off-ward beats (off and awkward), and Hip-Hop. During this time he also worked with several artists to get his production skillz up. KT was soon blessed with another placement opportunity with Arrested Development, a two-time Grammy award winning group. One of the Hip-Hop joints was accepted by AD, but didnt make the cut for their Japan released album. The track proved ahead of its time because it is still current and has been co-produced and written by Speech of Arrested Development, with promise to be on the American released album.
At the age of 28 KT is acting manager for his father ZA, still writing, producing, and plans to launch BeatHitz full force by the close of the year. BeatHitz will be apart of a major enterprise with two sister companies, Music Entertainment Management Services(MEMS), and a telecommunications company, TraceCommunications.
