My Interests

Yoga of course! Meditation, Reiki, Reading, and sleeping

I'd like to meet:

Yogis, yoginis, and others on the spiritual path

Music:

Mostly sanskrit chants, (goes with the yoga thing) Jaya Lakshmi, Deva Premal, Krishna Das and any compilation album by Shiva Rea. Our musical taste is identical! Love 80's music! Also love The Carpenters and The Bee Gees (don't tell anybody)

Movies:

Love horror movies. The gorier the better, (Does not go with the yoga thing) Also really girlly movies, Favorites being Legally Blonde 1 & 2, Miss Congeniality only 1, 2 was not so good, how could she go from sweet matty-haired girl to glamor bitch? Not believable and an ex-hairstylist turned yogini should know! and Pretty woman Saddest favorite has to be Untamed Heart. I cry through the entire movie and then for weeks later.

Television:

Sex and the City, Seinfeld and I am a Law and Order addict especially Criminal Intenent as I have a major crush on Vincent D'nofrio. My new absolute favorite though is Lipstick Jungle the grown up version of sex and the city. ( :

Books:

Most yoga related. (no surprise there) Patanjalis yoga sutras, Autobiography of a yogi, Mark Whitwell's Yoga of Heart, Eastern Body, Western Mind & Hip Tranquil Chick. Not yoga related - Devil wears Prada,Everyone worth knowing by Lauren Weisburger& Lipstick Jungle by Candace Bushnell Hey you know what they say, you can take the girl out of the salon, but you can't take the salon out of the girl even if she is a yogini now. Hair stylist roots run deep! (no pun intended ha ha)

Heroes:

All those who follow their hearts and are brave enough to live their dreams no matter what the odds.
