The project started by the end of 2004 but, for some time before that, Zé and João were already trying to produce something serious within the Death Metal universe. Either by line-up changes or any other reasons, only then the wanted sound was attained: an aggressive, brutal and speedy sound, together with deep and high voices as well as really sick lyrics.
Bloodrealm was born!
The first Demo CD, including two themes (Neurotic Compulsion and An Everlasting Tale of Dismemberment), was recorded on October 2005 promptly followed by several live appearances.
During 2006 Summer, the band decided that a new guitar player was needed to power up mainly live performances. A long time friend, with same musical preferences, Joel Rocha, was contacted on September and invited to join in.
By the same time, João Martins, the drummer, decided to leave the project (for personal reasons) leading to the joining of a new member.
Now, as before, we do no more than rehearsal after rehearsal, to keep on assuring a good Death Metal sound (old-school way!) to faithful fans.
Let the slaughter keep going... to the sound of Bloodrealm!!!!The CricketSoda Myspace Editor
