When Brielle was in sixth grade, Wayne State University Public Schools got a new school song: she wrote it. They still use it.Today this young prodigy from Motown can claim a songwriting, singing, arranging and performing career spanning almost two decades. At fourteen, Brielle who shared Aaliyah's voice coach, Gwendolyn Peddy, began a two year run as the lead, acting and singing in "There's Hope for You, Willie T" at the Detroit Masonic Temple Theatre. Three years later, in 1997 she performed in Toronto at BET's Comic View.Brielle also did sum recordings in early 2000 with multi platinum recording group D12, on Eminem's Shady Records label.During these formative years, Brielle grew in wisdom and in understanding the virtues of hard work. She credits her development as an artist from having good mentors amongst her parents and family and her faith in God. "Street sense and spiritual sense go hand in hand." She says. "You may survive with one but you will surely succeed with both."Her impressive vocal range and versatility has lent its form for background for Michael Bivens' (New Edition) record label, Biv 10 Records.Brielle's gift has contributed to arrangements and performances with T Baby and also Denaun on the Runyon Ave. label. She has sung, written and performed background for many local Detroit artists as well as performing in a recent video with the legendary Dramatics and BR Gunner. Her new CD demo is already playing on Detroit and Atlanta radio stations to rave reviews to its hit "Hip Roll" and if that response is any indication of things to come, Brielle who can write a hit song in 5 minutes, has plenty more where that comes from.I edited my profile at Freeweblayouts.net , check out these Myspace Layouts
