Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for checking out our web site. We came across Liz who offered to help put this page together and she helped us get started, so we would like to give a special thanks to you, and we would like to give a special thanks to Matt Hepworth for helping us record our album.As for the band, it's comprised of three brothers. Jay is the oldest, is 36, and plays the drums. Ted is the middle brother, is 30, and plays the lead guitar. Trevor is the youngest, is 22, and plays the bass guitar. Ted and Trevor sing most of the lyrics in their songs, but Jay sings some times too.The three brothers come from a large family with three other brothers. They spend most of their time hanging out, watching movies and having band practice. The band has a moto:IF YOU'RE HAVING A GOOD TIME THAN We're HAVING A GOOD TIME.We really like to see people come out to our shows and have fun. We're always up for new ideas and ways to improve.Gear77 has been together for eight years. As for the name, Ted was repairing the gears to his 1964 Ford truck when gear came to his head. As for the numbers, Ted thought it would be cool to add the number 7 for good luck. Then Ted added another seven to double their luck. The spade on their first album cover is like a shovel meaning hard working. Gear77 recorded their first album in January of 2007. They are currently working on our second album. The clubs and shows they have played at in Utah are Mojo's Cafe, Kilby Court , Lo-Fi Cafe, Bruwskies, Kamiqaze's, the Budhist Temple festival in layton city, club boomva Liquid Joe's, several private parties, and the 4th of July celebration at fisher park in clearfield. This is a dream that the Holley Brothers want to some day acomplish and we hope our music some how influences the lives of others. We want to give a thanks to every one that supports our band.So come on out and have some fun!
