Nektarios

I was born in 1975. I live and work at Heraclion Crete, Greece. I have studied Law and Psychology and have been writing fiction since 1998. My stories have appeared in various Greek and American magazines and anthologies, as well as the internet. I have been a fanatic comics reader since he can remember myself being able to read and have recently begun a career in comics as a writer. In addition to being a creator honing my skills in Comics with Visionary Comics Studio, I am a member of the editorial board of the Greek fiction magazine Universe Pathways ("Sympantikes Diadromes"). I am the writer behind the project "Aposperos: Merchant of Souls", on which I work in collaboration with Georgios Martzoukos, also a Visionary Comics Studio hosted creator.My writing is ideally atmospheric and abstract. I prefer to leave the images speak for themselves, adding captions and balloons only where necessary. I especially enjoy experimental writing and like to tamper with the timeline of my stories.My characters are humans and behave like such; their emotions and sentiments matter to the story and to the plot.I don't want to give readers junk food for their brain. My stuff is not easy, but can be rewarding when read, motivating the readers to think, ponder, or reflect on what they've just read, what happened and what might or might not have happened. The reader is my writing's king, but his reign is not an easy one.
