Velvet Fury 2000-2006

About Me

Velvet Fury was an all girl band based outta Sacramento, California. The band was formed back in 2000 by Dahlia Deathstrike and after a good five years, and 10 ex-girl members, the band ended in June 2006. ************************************************************ ** Dahlia D started out playing guitar and singing in the band until March 2003. VF's sound changed due to Dahlia leaving guitar and going to drums after going through two previous drummers. The band had so many members because everyone was pretty much in college full time. VF put out four self released cd's that varied in sound. From March 2003 and on, all VF music was a collaborative effort between all members of the band. ************************************************************ ** THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who supported the band, fed us, gave us beer, smoked us out, let us crash in their pads, fondled us, spooned us, dry humped us, these last five years. Thanks to Independent and Pirate Radio Stations who played us! ************************************************************ ** If you would like any of the previous past music recorded by VF send out an email to: [email protected] ************************************************************ ** If you would like any archived copies of flyers or pix of the band, email to: [email protected] (the official historian of VF)
