MySpace Layouts I am an aspiring opera singer that loves to sing jazz as well. My life is centered around music. I spend a great deal of time practicing and listening to the greats, how else can you learn? I love my family and I love my boyfriend, Jacob. He is my best friend! I am attending New England Conservatory right now,for a Masters in Vocal Performance(opera). Boston is a beautiful town, I live in Brookline Village and I LOVE IT!In life, I love surrounding myself around artistic people, that is where I feel the most comfortable. I am fluent in Czech. My parents emigrated to the United States in the late 70's and I became the first born American in my family. My father is Spanish and Czech and my mother is Czech. I was born in Mesa, Arizona.Also, I have been with my boyfriend for over 2 and a half years now. He is the perfect guy. He was my best friend first so, I saw who he really was, beautiful inside and out. We have been through a lot together and he is the perfect person for me, goofy, passionate, career-focused, intelligent, FUNNY and MUSICAL(a sexy trumpet player). I am lucky to have someone as wonderful as him supporting my dreams and loving me for who I am, the good and the bad. I wish all women could find a partner as wonderful as him.....

My Interests

I love to sing, read, write.....I love going to the opera and watching great jazz performances. I love people watching on the subway train...I love going to museums and seeing great art! I love traveling....there is just too much!!! I love volunteering...I used to volunteer for a great children's workshop in NY. Opera and jazz... Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Rosemary Clooney, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Nina Simone, Chet Baker, Sarah Vaughn....Maria Callas, Rosa Ponselle,Teresa Stratas, Mirella Freni, Renata Tebaldi, Leontyne Price, and I cannot forget Placido Domingo...I know I forgot some names...just all of the greats!Also, I love Portishead, My Robot Friend(look him up),Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Alisha Keys, Michael Buble, Outkast(Andre 3000), Gwen Stefani, the Edward Scissorhands soundtrack, Waiting to Exhale Soundtrack, Mermaids Soundrack, Amelie Soundtrack....My favorite opera:Tosca and I really love Dialogue of the Carmelites. of course, La Boheme.I just love opera!Christmas music too.....

Television:

Really do not watch much t.v. but if I did Grey's Anatomy seems really good. Try to get into t.v. but I just have so much to do. I LOVE THE COSBY SHOW reruns.

Books:

Tuesdays with Morrie, The Five People You Meet In Heaven, Memoires of a Geisha, The Kite Runner, One more day.

Heroes:

My mother for having one of the hardest lives I know of...Regardless, she loved her children in a way that most children cannot even imagine. I did not appreciate her for many years but she is a dream mother who knows how to love her children. She supports me and my siblings in anything we choose to do. She is also as straighforward as they come. I LOVE THAT! I love her so very much!Also, Helen Keller...if you do not know why. Look her up. An amazing woman that overcame a great deal of obstacles. The world was blessed with a woman like her. She shows people that they really should not complain about their lives...she was given a difficult life and she overcame them and found a way to communicate the words of her soul to us. We are lucky..
