Im siping on Bjork, Mos Def, Tete, Miles Davis, Knaan, Georges McRas, Goodie Mob, Hendrix, Donald Byrd, The Streets, Gangstar, Hanne Hekkelberg, Jil Scott, The Police, Osunlade, Dizzie Rascal, Aloan, LCD soundsystem AND juice! I love life because we often all tend to forget how fortunate we are to be part of that 1 third of the world who actually has the time to think about stupdiness like we all do and still complain about it. No bombs droping on my head when I go pick up the newspaper. No famine slowly destroying my internal organs when I pout about going to work with shoes that pinch my toes every monday morning. And to all you G's out there. Fake ones wannabes or real ones fighting/cussing/ killing each other over stupidness. The 2 Masai Tribsmen in my slide show have both been face to face with LIONS a couple of times and were still alive to be able to tell me about it. Now that's gangsta :-) y'all knock it off I say PEACE is the drug..Now some facts about me..The Tanzanian blood flowing in my veins humbles me. I feel spoiled to death everyday as one third of this world struggles. Like most of us I enjoy certain superficial things and materialistic goods the world throws in our face. I believe one person can make a difference, I love children and hope to have many some day. If you have never set foot on African land go. If you have go again.I love the sunshine on my face, simple things, real people. I love a great book as much as a "love at first sight" pair of shoes. The first time I saw former President of Tanzania Julius Nyerere I thought he was my grandfather. I've had a camera in my pocket since age 13. I love, life, love, music and food. I'm addicted to music. when I was 13 I sneaked out of the house to go see RUN DMC. My mum wooped my ass when I got back but it was worth it!! my first show and it got me hooked. Then I saw Public Enemy, Ice Cube, Gravedigaz (on tour together), Then came my first "The Roots" show in 94 (Hub has been in my heart ever since, not only cuz he s one of the most skilled bass player on the planet but also because he took the time to stop and talk to a kid, ?uesto shook my hand my cross colors overalls were shakin..) I ve seen the Roots many many times since and the show is always as dope. One of the best shows I ve ever seen was Lenny Kravitz. I have to give it to him because he's crazy live. Keyboard, guitar, electric guitar, voice he does it all and well.Femi Kuti, Mos Def, Martin Luther, Erykah Badu, Enrico Macias, Buena Vista Social Club, Raphael Saadiq, The Fugees, Jamiroquai, Common Sense, Morcheeba, Kanye West'1st tour, Rokia Troaré, Fishbone are also some of the best live shows I ve seen. I ve yet to see Bjork, Tribe or Gladiators, Portishead, Keziah Jones, Tete, M, Daft Punk or Air live so yes, my name is Esta and I'm addicted to music there, u have it."You got to have a dream, if you don't have a dream, how you gonna have a dream come true" - Dizzie Rascal RIP J.Dilla a great true devoted artist.
