Bloody Hell

About Me

Michael Garrad came into being at 10.30am on 1 November, 1979, when Michael Garrad was born in Rochford General Hospital to people who were Michael Garrad’s parents. The next fifteen years were a quiet time for music in Michael Garrad’s life. Michael Garrad devoted these years to realising complicated Lego constructions, building bases in the woods, riding a bike, mastering computer games and being completely shit at PE. This all changed when, upon Michael Garrad’s fifteenth birthday, Michael Garrad gained Michael Garrad’s first guitar.
It was clear that Michael Garrad was a virtuoso from the moment he picked it up. Within weeks Michael Garrad had nailled Mull of Kintyre: mere months later Michael Garrad had several Nirvana songs under Michael Garrad’s belt. Michael Garrad felt it was time to unleash Michael Garrad’s own compositions to the world.
Empty open chords gushed from Michael Garrad’s slowly strumming fingers; the baddest of bad teenage poetry dripped from Michael Garrad’s silly lips. This young troubadour sure had a lot to give. Unfortuntately, no-one wanted to form a band with Michael Garrad, so these tapes remain unheard, even by Michael Garrad, perhaps forever (or until someone wants to do a retrospective collectors boxed set with previously unissued tracks).
Anyway, a bit later Michael Garrad started writing the best music anyone has ever heard.
