DELISE

Delise is a hip-hop dj from Madrid, Spain. She began to spinnin' around the year 2000. With her partner-in-crime Dj Tres she drop the well aclaimed mixtape "Drunk&Dumber Beats&Scratches" in year 2003, which take them to play at international festivals like Sonar 2004 or Hipnotik 2004 in Barcelona. Also, they have shared turntables with so relevant artists such as Cyne, Manuvers or Dj Food, offering interesting shows with four turntables and two mixers. She appears in the first Spanish's turntablism compilation, "Hispano All Scratch" along with Dj Hoodlover with their song "Bavarian Vodka Rhytm". She has worked with the soul artist Ikah, who drop her first solo album called "Calma" (Otra Zona,2006). They have opened shows for artists such as Beatnuts and Missy Elliot. As solo artist she has played at such relevants clubs in the Spanish scene as Katmandhú in Madrid, Catwalk in Barcelona or Pachá in Ibiza. She has opened shows for artists such as DJ Craze, Klever or Sean Price. In year 2006 Delise drops her first solo tape, "Risky Dealings", with huge covering at the web and toured with one of the top Spanish's hip-hop artist,Chirie Vegas, playing in almost every major festival done in Spain, as Viñarock or Cultura Urbana. Same year she signed with GP Records,as one of the official dj's from the label. She has played for trademarks as ECKO Unlt. or Kanie Ladies. She has been featured in different media like Hip Hop Nation, HipFlow, Serie B, El Pais (press), Cuatrosfera (TV) or Spanish Players (DVD). She has launched the international top female dj's collective FEMALES WIT FUNK
