About Me

I hate myspace and spend most of my time on blogger , because it seems only slightly less an irrelevant community. However, people like using this service to network with old friends, so here's your chance to find me.
But with that out of the way, I'm just that guy who watches far too many movies, reads far too many books, and bitches about how there's hardly anything good on TV. I'm that guy at the end of the bar who is constantly engaging his friend the bartender in drawn out conversation, just to watch you get cranky because you have to wait an extra three minutes to get your mojito. I'm not that guy in a dress with writing all over his face puking on your counter after his eleventh shot of tequila, but I find that guy pretty funny when he's at your house. I'm that guy you think always looks tired or depressed when he's neither, and hates being asked if he's feeling ok. I'm that guy who has a more ironic, irreverant, and black sense of humor than most of the people you know.
I hope that's a decent enough collection of elements of character for you to get some kind of read on me, and if you care to contact me.
P.S. Do not friend request me without a message unless you're sure I will know/remember you. There's a reason I have under 100 friends.

My Blog

Today I wander around town, then ramble about craigslist.

Spent a lot of today in a dissociated haze. It was a return to old school Adam depression. I spent an hour today sitting in a parking lot and staring at a brick building. It was a dentist's office. Af...

And I was forced to take the wrong path.

I went to work today even though I was running a fever and had a throat so raw and tattered it was bleeding My voice was entirely lost until this afternoon, but the bleeding continues. I feel like Doc...

Fruit flies, corporate war machines, and Peter Weller.

I was out in my backyard this morning, enjoying the fact that I have a backyard now and contemplating the sunlight. We have some overactive automatic sprinklers that none of my roommates and I have le...

They Live...kinda!

I haven’t posted a blog in awhile, despite promising myself I’d stay on top of it. Weird things have been happening. People have been getting assaulted, getting robbed, their cars crashed ...

If I ever learn a musical instrument...

Learning every song, including the intro, to every Megaman 3 stage will be my endgame. I'm pleased (and admittedly somewhat relieved) that someone else shares my obsession and has undertaken acting it...

Quarantine: Day 1.

I have been stricken down with the vapors of hell. The Black Death, Malaria, and The Bird Flu (I knew my goddamn roommate's bird had it in for me!), have combined into a viro-bacterial compound here-t...

Here comes the pain train.

Going to work today was a challenge of monumental proportions. Once I arrived, I shuffled behind the bar, grabbed a water glass, filled it with water, and plopped in a tablet of airborne. I laid my ar...

These pipes... are clean!

"I've often thought about naming my balls John Candy and Chris Farley,"  I said."Because they're fat?""That would be accurate too, but, no, mostly because they sweat a lot.""It'd be even funnier...

Trolleys, babies, and fatties.

I started a pretty vibrant conversation at work the other day after my brother sent me an article in the New York Times written by my main man, Dr. Steven Pinker. The conversation was about what you'd...
