About Me

Swift It Major AKA Rob Swift has been rhyming seriously for a few years now. Once a member of the SBK sound, swift developed his sharp style of rhyming by dabbling in Garage bars with fellow MCs Ruma Doobz, AMT and QT 2hype. Breidgen Paradise (former 57th Dynasty) birthed TGSMP and out the blue decided to put Swift It Major on track UP2US. Major's second stab at the verse earned him the chance to feature on other tracks and eventually became a permenant member of the TGSMP camp. Practicing verses day in and day out for 1 year straight, swift decided to bless the world with his opening MixCD entitled Welcome 2 Induction which gives the world a demonstration into what they can come to expect from this bright spark! Alongside TGSMP, swift has played out in Various venues including opening for KRS ONE at shepards bush empire and headlining in a number of underground spots. TGSMP album 'The Forgotten Curriculum' is soon to blast road with features from the likes of MCD, Skeme, Snakey Man, KRS ONE and many more. Swift dropped his second MixCD 'ROAD WORK' in April 2006 which received a massive response on road.He is now working on his Album which is due for release Early 2008, opening with first single 'Nothing Like Me'For bookings, interviews, features and general enquires email: [email protected] ALL TIDGY!!
