I am currently working on a masters degree in music performance. I have a passion for music and try to share that passion. Other than music I am into outdoor stuff (camping, backpacking, rock climbing, rafting, etc.) I also like to hang out with a few close friends and enjoy a cold brew or two.

Music:

Jazz is something I live for. I also listen to alot of rock bands, some main stream some not, but what ever has thought behind it I like, oh yeah and I have some weird passion for wind band literature. Let me list some groups I like: Beck, David Gilmore, Rufus Wainright, Modest Mouse, Mooney Suzuki, Keane, Maroon 5, Amos Lee, Buena Vista Social Club, Diana Krall, Fall Out Boy, Franz Ferdinand, Gorillaz, Green Day...I can go all day.

Movies:

My favorite movies include those that are not on the main stream, B movies. And "art" movies. One of my favorite is Garden State, and I just saw SLC Punk thanks to Patrick. "Cool Hand Luke", WOW what an amazing movie, I cried, I laughed it was better than cats.

Ehh...TV is over rated. But I do watch crap like Family Guy, Futurama, American Dad stuff like that.

Books:

Yeah I read alot of books ranging from fiction to political science, yes the Cos reads poly sci...Don't judge me!! I don't care for biographies, I have my own life to live. Currently reading: I am America and so can you! Stephen Colbert what an amazing person!

Heroes:

My high school band director is someone I really admire the most. She helped me to see what I can really do in life. I also look up to those who give up time in their life to help children.
