livin' life like it's goin' outta style

About Me

Life aint a cake walk, it's a waltz, but they're playing my music out of time.
................
:::First, the serious stuff. In August, I'll be starting work on my Master's in Music Performance at the University of New Mexico. I honestly can say that I cannot wait to be in school again. I play the flute, and yes it's a lot cooler than it sounds, and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance with Honors. Someday I hope to have my own successful private flute studio, play as a member in a professional ensemble, and do some soundtrack work!
................
I like being around people with intelligence, open minds, and those who can carry on interesting and ridiculous conversations. Like anyone else, I love my friends - old and new. I've traveled to England and to Colombia, both were amazing, but I've never been to a beach. I love watching really crappy horror movies. I love my 80's cartoons. My first love was David Bowie, followed by Jordan Knight from New Kids on the Block. Those loves will NEVER die, so you better understand you're likely to hear "Fashion" and then "Step By Step," which I will turn UP, in my car. Donatello was my favorite Ninja Turtle. I have hair ADD, it's a condition in which I am forced to suddenly alter the color of my hair on a whim, one day it's brown, next pink, you just never know. Some of my morals very well may have been shaped by Saved By the Bell, those lessons last forever - I've never taken caffeine pills! Aliens=scary. (I wish ET had died). Music is my drug of choice, and I'm definately an addict; no rehab necessary.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet other people who have things in common with me or think I might be interesting...or may be interesting themselves...Anyone really. Pretty much if you're cool and/or awesome, intelligent, a musician, fun, and not a pedophile, zombie, or a robot, (unless of course you're a robot sent from the future to save my life, then please), let's be friends3

A dash of update

It's been awhile! Things have definately not gone as planned, or hoped.  I think I'm pretty much living every day as deeply in denial as I can, just because then I can live with this whole crappy...
