My name is Patricia Kathleen, but everyone calls me Kathie.
I was born in Dinuba, CA (San Joaquin Valley), but my family moved to Los Angeles when I was a baby. I grew up in Simi Valley, CA and currently reside in Reno, NV.
I'm 5'5" tall, I have red hair and green eyes.
I work in a local casino/hotel as a Players Service Representative.
I have 3 sons - Ryan, Sean, and Joshua, and 1 daughter - Amanda. Also 1 daughter-in-law - Michele (Sean's wife). The rest of my family consists of my dad Roy (my mom Billie passed away in May of 2000), 3 sisters - Nancy, Pam & Roberta, and 1 brother - Michael.
My favorite colors are green, purple and pink.
My favorite food is pizza, and my favorite thing to drink is Cherry Coke.
I love music, singing karaoke, crochet, collecting dolls and making websites.
I also love traveling, especially visiting places I've never been. I can't wait to visit New York City!
My birthday is Aug 23 - I am a Leo on the cusp of Virgo
My youngest son, Joshua is an autistic adult.
Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that typically lasts throughout a person's lifetime. It is part of a group of disorders known as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). Today, 1 in 150 individuals is diagnosed with autism, making it more common than pediatric cancer, diabetes, and AIDS combined. It occurs in all racial, ethnic, and social groups and is four times more likely to strike boys than girls. Autism impairs a person's ability to communicate and relate to others. It is also associated with rigid routines and repetitive behaviors, such as obsessively arranging objects or following very specific routines. Symptoms can range from very mild to quite severe.

I'd like to meet fun people who love to sing karaoke. I'm always open to meeting new people, you can never have too many friends.
I've met a few celebrities....like Dierks Bentley (twice, and I want to meet him again!), Bo Donaldson, and Ron Dante (he was the guy who wrote and sang the song Sugar Sugar). I've wanted to meet Bruce Campbell for like, forever, and my kids and I FINALLY got to meet him on Sept 20, 2006!!!! Hail to the king, baby!
I'd also like to meet Jon Bon Jovi, and anyone who was ever in Godspell, Wicked, Rent, or Jesus Christ Superstar.

And finally, someday when my life on earth is over....I hope to meet JESUS! Demand Bon Jovi with Eventful! ..

I LOVE MUSIC!!! I enjoy listening to almost any kind of music - depending on my mood.
When I'm in the mood for some good country I listen to: Dierks Bentley, Joe Nichols, Lee Ann Womack, Gretchen Wilson, and Terri Clark, among others, and of course Patsy Cline.
I also like Sheryl Crow, Dido, Norah Jones & Savage Garden.
When I'm feeling nostalgic, I listen to 70's and 80's pop and rock - Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods, Bon Jovi, Peter Frampton, Rick Springfield, and Billy Squier - anything I listened to as a teenager or young adult.
I especially love showtunes.... Godspell, Rent and Wicked are my favorite musicals, but there are many others that I enjoy.

Movies:

Rent, Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army of Darkness, Dirty Dancing, Fools Rush In, Ghost, Grease, Indian Summer, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Way We Were, West Side Story, and the funniest movie ever made: It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World! My holiday favorites include Miracle On 34th St (the original), A Christmas Story, and Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol. No coincidence that most of my favorites are musicals, what with music being such an important part of my life!

I'm currently loving NBC's Heroes, one of the best shows on tv in years! My all time favorite is The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. (Bruce Campbell Rocks!!!!), but I also love Friends, Sex And The City, That 70s Show, My Name Is Earl, Quantum Leap, the original Twilight Zone & Days Of Our Lives (a show I've watched since I was 12 years old!) And I'm not ashamed to admit being a fan of South Park, Beavis & Butthead, and The Simpsons.

Books:

Just about anything by Stephen King, also real life crime stories. Some of my favorites are The Stand, Rose Madder, and The Green Mile by Stephen King, and She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb.
