Nate Carpenter plays the Hammond Organ, Yamaha Cp-70 Electric Grand Piano, Fender Rhodes Electric Piano, Hohner D6 Clavinet, Roland Juno-106, Roland Space Echo, and the Farfisa Professional Piano..(more keys to come, fear not!). He plays around 150 shows per year in various bands. Nate's biggest project is The Schwag, and Schwagstock, a sweet festival held at Camp Zoe, where he jams out on keys to huge crowds and rocks the music of the Dead. The Schwag has performed with jamband names such as Keller Williams, Bill Nershi, Michael Travis, and Jason Hann from The String Cheese Incident, among others. Nate has recorded an instrumental project called The Ayers Nonu Magicians with Edan and Fiber 2007 to be released soon on 45! Nate also plays in Messy Jiverson, a local St. Louis original Funk/Rock and Psychedelic project that is releasing their debut album in early 2008. Another project currently recording an all original album is The Blown Speakers. Nate also has produced a series of instrumental songs under the name Pitch Bender 2000. An album of Pitch Bender 2000 tracks is also in the works. Also among the services of Nate Carpenter, which includes along with the above mentioned, is private lessons in music and improvisation.
