About Me

I don't know how to describe myself because I'm not an outsider looking in, so if you really want to know about me, ask someone else. Sure, I could say that I like animals, my favorite color is red, I'm engaged to a wondeful person, and I work in a nursing home, does that really give you a good picture of me though? I don't think so. One thing is for sure, I hate our current president, and I have strongly disliked the man from the day he was elected? I hate war, especiallly when it is for nothing, basically. I'm the type of person who likes to be prepared for everything, I don't like abrupt change and that my friends is why I have no children. I'm sure I sound like a big stick in the mud too, and I'll admit I can be at times, but I'm also one crazy bitch when I'm in the mood. My personality at times can be quite alienating because I have a tendancy to be too honest with people when honesty isn't what they are looking for. I know that I consider myself religous, but hippocracy is rampant in the world so I don't normally go to church. Besides, my relationship with God is my own, I don't want people telling me how I should feel. To me, religion is about love not judgement, as long as I try to do what is right I think I'll be okay and the same goes for everyone else. I Umm. . . hate it when people are too jugdemental(I say too judgemental because almost everyone is a little judgemental) I'm a firm believer in the saying "you can't judge a book by it's cover." Another thing I hate is the fact that the world is unfair. One thing I'm definately into is justice, I love to see the bad get what's coming to them.

My Interests

I am really an animal person. I like plants too. I like to know all I can about creation and God, theres a lot more to know than just what the Bible says. I'm also really interested in the science of everything. I love to know things about the universe and prehistoric times, or things that have to do with the human body. Our bodies in themselves are such miracles.

I'd like to meet:

Bill Clinton, I admire his intelligence and I think he is a relatively good guy. Yes, it's true that he can't keep it in his pants, but there are many politicians like that; and that has nothing to do with running the country. Besides, I think he's kind of sexy anyway. Although he's not the only person I want to meet. For some odd reason, I've always wanted to meet John Goodman(the actor), he gives me a warm fuzzy feeling. Also, if Tupac Shakur were still alive I would want to meet him, not because he's hot or anything like that but because he seemed to have a good grasp on what life is really about and his music truly was poetic.

Music:

I like older music like the Beatles, The Eagles, Heart, Madonna, Led Zepplin, Styx, Phil Collins, Steve Miller, etc., but I like new music too. I don't like pop very much or country, however, I do like Garth Brooks and Patsy Cline. I really like Crossfade and Kill Switch Engage too. Umm . . . I like anything that makes me want to get up and dance really.

Movies:

Thte Terminator, Dazed and Confused, The Matrix, Braveheart, Old School, and Dirty Dancing are a few that are my absolute favorites. One movie I hated was The Notebook, I cried too much. Who wants to watch a movie about Alzheimer's Disease and getting old? I like movies that are either action packed or hilarious. Old school was fucking hilarious and so was the Forty Year Old Virgin.

Television:

Well, reality tv has taken over television and I watch tv not so I can see reality, I watch tv so I can get away from it. However, my favorite shows are Prison Break because it's the best series I've ever seen, Everybody Hates Chris, and My Name is Earl. Although I do have to admit I've been sucked into American Idol just recently.

Books:

I like Stephen King books, C.S. Lewis books, and Michael Moore books just to name a few. I have to admit though, reading is not something I do a whole lot of these days if I don't have to. I guess I'm just not stimulated enough to actually sit down and read, I don't have the patience. Its very ubfortunate, I know.
