Music. Cars. Tatoos. Piercings. Women. Art.
Those on myspace, definitely cool and interesting people. And bands that sounds really good. That sounded kinda cheesy.
My musical taste varies tremendously. Depending on what mood I'm in you can find me listening to, hmm let's see: Old school metal like Anthrax, Stormtroopers of Death, and Pantera; Classic rock like Alice Cooper, Black Sabbath, and Pink Floyd; Grundge Rock with the likes of Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots; Modern Rock like Linkin Park, Audioslave, Spineshank, Mudvayne, and Disturbed, Modern Metal such as Trivium, Lamb of God, and Devildriver; there are a few bands that I think you can't really classify that I listen to as well.... Johnny Cash, if anything he's got a category of his own...Covers of NIN and Soundgarden. Mad props to the man, RIP. Tool, this is a group that has defined versitility with their explorations into the human mind. They are without a doubt my favorite of all time. Steve Vai could be defined as totally instrumental but the way it's performed, there is no need for a vocalist; Yngwie Malmsteen, as well. I also listen to the occasional hip hop, so that I can dance but I really can't tell you the names of the artists. Likewise with trance, D&B, techno, acid, etc... I enjoy the music because I can move my body to it.
Evil Dead Trilogy; Snatch; Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels; The Ninth Gate; The Order; Stigmata; Animé movies; LOTR Trilogy; A Clockwork Orange; Eurotrip; The Matrix Trilogy(I liked the storyline); A Walk To Remember; All Kevin Smith movies; Pirates of the Carribean; Altered States; Bram Stoker's Dracula; Interview With a Vampire; Queen of the Damned; An American Werewolf in London; An American Werewolf in Paris; Under The Tuscan Sun; Unfaithful; Dr. Zhivago......I think there are way too many more to list. Just ask, if I haven't seen it, I definitely will.
I'm not much for television, mainly because of time. I enjoy Law and Order, Uranium on Fuse, Headbanger's Ball on MTV2, Family Guy, South Park, Drawn Together, and Spin City.
Philosophy is nice, it gives a new perspective on the ordinary; Plato, Nietzche (I think I spelled that right?), Descartes, among others. Religion interests me. I study as much on religions is as available. Different branches of Christianity, Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, etc. The more you know, the more tolerant you can be. Tolerance and Acceptance are both keys to stability in self and society. I think that is good for now.
Maynard James Keenan, Layne Staley, Dez Fafera, Steve Vai, my older brother, Morgan Rose, etc... Pretty much all musicians that put their heart and soul into what they do are an inspiration and are heroes to me, whether they make it big or not. It's about the art(music) and doin what you love, not about selling out and settling for what others like from you. Be true to yourself and you will be one of my heroes as well.
