Well as the observant of the myspace population may have noticed my name's Dan or Daniel if you like. I was born and bred on Portsea Island (or Portsmouth as most people call it), raised by a mother and father, I also have an older sister who I strangely enough get along quite well with.
I'm in the middle of a degree in Biomedical Science at the university of Portsmouth, which can be very interesting in part and boring at best in others.
I'm currently living in a student house with Simon, Liam and Steve. Its located in Duncan Rd Southsea, so is very close to both Albert Rd and Palmerston Rd, which is very handy. The house itself is great, got my room in a nice little set up, all nice and cosy n loving it. It's been remarked that it's the tidiest student house they've ever seen, hopefully it'll remain that way.
I spend most monday nights in the company of a select group of friends at the registry and route.
My passions include film, music of the alternative nature (though it's become somewhat mainstream these days :S), books (I can sit hours on end enthralled by a good fantasy), walking (keeps me in shape, as well as gives me time to think). Aswell as all those I have a slight interest in photography and can often be seen with camera in hand, I'm also the photographer for the university magazine Pugwash . I enjoy watching sunsets (call it girly if you will, but they're stunning and it always makes me think there will never be one exactly the same again).
In my opinion I don't really fit into any specific genre myself, i'm somewhat of a skater/surfer/rocker/geekboy mishmash, though I cant skate, have never surfed, doubt anyone thinks I rock but I guess the geekboy bit's right, even though in some parts of the world it may be more politically correct to be called a geekman. In the words of one person I am "odd, funny with delightful taste in hats and facial hair", which pretty much sums me up.
Well thats enough ramble from me, like anyones actually that interested :P. If you do want to know anything else about me just poke me enough and i'll tell ya.
