About Me

Well... A little about me... hmmmm...
OK! My name is David... I am a 32 year old male living in Modesto with my cat Gizmo, and new kitten MoCheezeMo! And I am also taking care of my great father who has Parkinson's disease, and working as a substitute teacher for the Modesto City Schools! I am very blessed and thankful to be in the place in life that I am in!
I am very thankful to have such blessings in my life right now! I have had some rough years in the past, but now since I have changed my negative lifestyle habits, for positive and healthy ones, things have been so much better in life...
I totally encourage happy, peaceful, and random acts of kindness toward all others sharing this wonderful planet! Saying "Hello!" and smiling at a stranger can bring such happiness, and truly brighten someones day! We all should practice such humanitarian acts every day!
I am not gonna get too much into this "about me" section... If you want to know more about me, then all you have to do is send a message and ask... lol
I was finally blessed to find my father a wonderful doctor, that I am 110% confident in! My fathers first visit, and this doctor has already done so much! I still cannot find the words to express how impressed I am with this doctor. I know he was meant to be a blessing for my father and I. To anyone who wants a great doctor and is in the Modesto, CA area, look him up! His name is Tushar R. Modi , M.D. , F.A.C.P. Specializing in Internal Medicine, Geriatrics, and Sports Medicine. I wrote a blog about him, please feel free to read it. It is called "Just one of those days".
Speaking of blessings, I finally was blessed to be able to see both of the Broadway musicals (CATS and Phantom of the Opera) that I have wanted to see since I was a child... They were both amazing performances, with extravagant sets and costumes!
But of course Phantom of the Opera was my favorite! And I got to meet the new actor playing the Phantom (Richard Todd Adams), and get his autograph on a Phantom mask (thanx Deborah). I chatted with him a little and he gave me a cookie from his debut celebration goodie box! LOL I felt honored that I was the first fan that he spoke to after his first show! :) So I got to meet him, get his autograph, got a Phantom cookie, and a picture with him! Life can't get no better! LOL.... @)--%---- That's my Phantom rose!
Richard does make a much better Phantom than Gerard Butler! Sorry Phantom lovers... but if you ever get the pleasure of seeing him, you'll understand my ranting and raving!!! And I had the honor of meeting him personally, and he is the most awesome, down to Earth and adorable person alive. LOL

My Interests

I am interested in finding the beauty and enchantment that has been lost in this world, and bringing it back, and sharing it with you!

I love all the little things in life that are normally always overlooked.

From the beautiful daisies and dandelions that grow so beautifully along the side of the road, to the beauty of the trees changing color before your eyes during the changing of the seasons.

And I love the romance and beauty that nature has provided, like in the summer sitting on a beach and watching the sun set on a watery horizon. Or in the winter when the snow freezes over night on the bare trees, just to be illuminated as the early morning sun glistens and sparkles off the frozen branches as if they were crystal trees.

I'd like to meet:

I would love to meet more people in my area that are genuinely good people! I am tired of meeting drama queens, enablers, haters, depressors, users, and abusers! I would like to meet people that have simple, yet fun lives! People who are uplifting and spontaneous, people without a chaotic presence, people who are not totally jaded or pure taboo!

Well, I already have some wonderful, funny, honest, caring, loving, crazy, optimistic, and beautiful people in my life.

And I'd like to say "THANK YOU!" to all the special people in my life for just being themselves and such beautiful people... Kristen... TJ... Vicky... jAjA...and yes you too Umenzo! I definitely cannot forget you!

You guys are so special to me, and always make me smile. Some people are like slinkies, not really good for anything but putting a smile on your face when you push them down the stairs! You make me smile without having to do the whole stairs thing! LOL

But I am always willing and wanting to meet more people with positive characteristics that I would want to spend time with in my life.

Music:

I am loving the new single from David Archuleta called "Crush". Great start for his debut album coming out in November! It has already hit #2 on the charts, and topping records, and beating his American Idol buddy David Cook's single as well. Go Archie!

Also I am an 80's freak though, so almost anything from the 80's I will love.

I love pop, r&b, golden oldies, opera, dance, country, rock, techno, some rap, contemporary, and a little bit of classical. I am not so much into the whole jazz thing though...

And I love the music and songs from the Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals. Phantom of the Opera and Cats are my favorite! The songs "Think of me" and "Memory" are beautiful!

Movies:

My favorite movie is Phantom of the Opera!

I also love Merlin, Ever After, Torchsong Trilogy, Latter Days, CATS Musical, Drop Dead Fred, The Neverending Story, Knight Rider (2008), A Walk To Remember, Mask (with Cher, not with Jim Carey), The Last Unicorn, Cujo, Misery, Save The Last Dance, Too Wong Foo, IT, Con-Air, The Lion King, and so many, many more...

Television:

LOL... I really don't watch too much television. I am kind of a reality show junkie... I love those reality/elimination shows!! My fave is American Idol... he he ha ha!! And I used to love watching Fear Factor and Survivor!

I used to love watching the show "Who's line is it anyway?" That was the funniest show I have ever seen. I used to watch that and be laughing so hard I would cry, and so loud that my next door neighbor would come check on me to see if I was ok! LMAO Out of Drew, Collin, Randy, and Wayne..... my favorite person was Collin! And the episode with Richard Simmons was priceless! OMG! :D

I also love watching shows like The Girls Next Door, Will & Grace, Scrubs, Seinfeld, Charmed, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and again many more... ..

Books:

The 9-11 Conspiracies, and Behold the pale horse. I love reading and writing poetry !!!

Heroes:

My most important hero is my father!

And all the brave sailors and soldiers that risk their lives everyday to save mine.....
