My kids and husband are the most important. I am very passionate about pregnancy, parenting, the birth process, doulas, midwives, home birth, breastfeeding, child development, children in general, pretty much anything baby and mommy oriented. I love watching surgeries on TV, I love trying new foods. Ethnic foods, vegetables, cooking, cloth diapers, natural foods, the Food network, learning new things, myspace, and sharing my brain with my husband because he has too much to keep track of on his own.
It would be cool to meet Bono or Bonnie Raitt..but I really just want to meet other Moms who share similar interests. Those who are responsible for making Heartland Granola and Honest Tea. (Because these are a few of my favorite things. :) )
In no particular order.... David Gray, Applefeet, Storyhill, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Simon, Jack Johnson, Aqualung, U2, Ben Harper, Counting Crows, Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi, Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Cat Stevens, Elliott Smith, Carole King, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, Van Morrison, Dave Matthews, Bob Dylan, Fleetwood Mac, Warren Haynes, Bob Marley, Norah Jones, Gary Jules, Radiohead, Steely Dan, Etta James, Loggins and Messina, James Taylor, Sunny Day Real Estate, Drive-by-truckers are good, Aaron Espe, Cold Play, etc Mostly just that of which involves a beautiful voice, an acoustic guitar, and a positive feeling.
Love Actually, The Story of Us, The Princess Bride, The Benneker Gang, The Labrynth, The Breakfast Club...THE MIGHTY Honestly though, it's hard for me to stay awake through movies.
Nearly anything on TLC or the discovery channel (like Man vs. Wild), American Idol, well, I'm actually just a sucker for those reality shows like American inventor and America's got talent. (not a fan of the bachelor and junk like that, though.) Definitely LOVE the Food Network...
