Alright, the story of me. For starters, I am lucky enough to have married my best friend and an amazing woman, Rebekah. Together, we have 3 great kids; Eli (our big 1st grader), Emma (our angel and the kindest girl I've ever met), and little Julian (our 5 month old who is already growing up too fast). At least I'm sure of my family (and God) because I've been all over the place searching for where and what I want to be. I would love to get a job as a forester (I gradumacated with Honors for crying in the beer). I've been a pizza dude and am currently self-employed as a roofing contractor. Being your own boss is cool, but I can't see myself as a roofer for the rest of my life. Maybe I'll open up an outdoor store or guide service or write a book based on my upcoming (as in several years from now) trip to Argentina to climb Aconcagua or all three!! Yeah, that would be cool! We currently live in Asheville, NC which is a great place for the outdoors, young families, culture and sustainable living. However, in my opinion, it falls short of Missoula, MT which is where we moved here from. Missoula is utterly surrounded by wild lands and that fact has had a huge influence on the community and its' citizens. I guess it's just more me than Asheville. I've also lived in Fargo, ND (my sociology professor there referred to it as the 'rectum of the world'); Duluth, MN (a great place on the shores of Lake Superior); Peachtree City, GA (nice place with paved paths, lakes, parks, snobs, and very little sense of community); Fayetteville, GA (uh, it sucks); and Northfield, MN (my little hometown with two colleges, a vibrant downtown, and a lot of good memories including where I met my wife!). There you have it. Want to know something else, then ask me already
